2018-2019 Best Children’s Hospitals List

Boston Children’s Hospital won top honors in U.S. News and World Report’s 12th annual “Best Children’s Hospitals” list. Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center earned second place, with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia following closely behind in third place.

This year’s rankings were based on both clinical and reputational survey responses sent to nearly 200 hospitals and more than 11,000 pediatric physicians, according to the U.S. News and World Report’s website. The survey took into consideration patient care outcomes, such as survival and infection rates, clinical resources, and compliance best practices.

So, without further ado, here are the 10 hospitals that earned a spot on the 2018-2019 U.S. News’ prestigious honor roll:

  1. Boston Children’s Hospital
  2. Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center
  3. Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
  4. Texas Children’s Hospital, Houston
  5. Children’s National Medical Center, Washington, D.C.
  6. Children’s Hospital Los Angeles
  7. Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus, Ohio
  8. Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, Baltimore
  9. Children’s Hospital Colorado, Aurora
  10. Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago
