Are you living in a state affected by the nursing shortage? The answer just might surprise you. According to a Georgetown University School of Nursing & Health Studies report, coastal states will experience a nursing shortage by 2025 while several Midwest states will see a nursing surplus. With a projected 28,100 shortfall of nurses, Arizona is predicted to see the largest demand in the next decade. Meanwhile, Ohio is expected to experience a surplus of 75,400 nurses by 2025.
